My wife just used the “Forgot my password” form on the MNCPA’s website. The automated response was, how you say, not very helpful: This is definitely a candidate for WorseThanFailure.

Thank you for bringing this error to our attention.
We apologize for the email your wife received. Your post helped us to correct an unknown issue. As a non-member, your wife didn’t have a log-in and today our message lets users without an account know this, rather than sending blank information.
We hope your wife will continue to turn to the MNCPA for information and education as a CPA.
