Twitter Filter is the only way to hide Twitter updates based on their source (e.g., foursquare, gowalla, TwitterFeed). To hide updates from a source, just click the "(X)" next to that source's name:

Any other updates from that source in the past or the future will be automatically hidden.

To see the sources you've already blocked (and to unblock any of them), take a look at the bottom of the Twitter sidebar:
