Just type your message in the address bar and then type --post (no need to press Return), or click on the TwitterBar icon at the end of the address bar to post it to Twitter. (You'll have to authorize TwitterBar the first time you tweet, but it only takes a second.)

You can also easily post links to Twitter; just click the Twitter button in the address bar, and a link to the page you're viewing will be posted to Twitter. You can also specify some extra text to automatically go along with each link; for example, "Checking out this page:". (To set this text, open TwitterBar's settings by typing "--options" in the address bar. You can also just type your own text with the link in the address bar.)
Did you know that you can search Twitter and the social Web directly from TwitterBar? Just type your search and then type --search. Or, you can search by clicking the magenta icon that appears when you hover over the TwitterBar icon in the address bar:
TwitterBar's newest feature is that it adds additional trending topics to Twitter's sidebar; these topics are free of hashtag spam, and clicking on them will take you to a search of the entire real-time Web for that term:
