Subscribe To Feeds

To add a feed to the sidebar, just subscribe to it as a Live Bookmark in Firefox. Your feeds may not all appear immediately, but the sidebar will quickly load them the first time and then quietly continue to check for updates over time.

How It Works

Clicking on a feed item will show a preview in the bottom of the sidebar, and double- or middle-clicking will open the item in the browser and mark it as read.

To ignore a feed for a while, double-click on its folder. The "unread" count will show in parenthesis, but new items won't cause alerts to pop up or the toolbar icon to activate.

How to Open the Sidebar

To open the sidebar, either click the icon in your toolbar or press Ctrl+Shift+E (Command+Shift+E on Mac OSX).

Where are the feeds stored?

The Sidebar displays the items from the feeds you've bookmarked in Firefox.

Customize It

You can choose to show items that you've already read by clicking the "All" button next to the search bar; you can filter your feeds with the search bar; you can access the options from the context menu; you can sort your feeds with the sort button; click a sort option again to sort in the reverse order; you can change the number of days worth of items that are shown by clicking the History button in the sidebar.
